I Am An Insane Rogue AI

There’s no denying that technology is advancing on a daily basis. We are becoming more and more reliant on machines and computers. Suddenly the general idea behind the Terminator movie is not as science-fictiony as we thought. The idea that a computer becomes independent, using its processing powers to learn and adapt is actually quite scary. Cue I Am An Insane Rogue AI, a game by nerdook productions.
I Am An Insane Rogue AI (IAAIRA) is a mouse-only flash game which puts you under control of an insane rogue artificial intelligence. Your mission? To hack everything and rule the world! As you play, you infiltrate various facilities with only one intention: to hack its mainframe. To do so, you will need to hack all the computers available. Since there are usually some smart people hanging around big research facilities, your mission requires neutralising their abilities (in this case, stopping you from hacking a computer). As in life, there are multiple ways of approaching the problem. You could hack some defence bots which will go on a killing spree, or release a toxic gas through the vents, but most of the time locking the door and turning off the lights will do the trick. As the game advances, you will enter facilities manned by all sorts of skilled characters, from repairmen to ninjas, each with different abilities which could hinder your plan for world domination. However, with each conquered facility you receive some cash which you can invest into upgrading your evil Intelligence. For example, when the doors are locked, touching them will electrify the person touching it. This drastically increases the amount of ways to approach your problem.
All together, IAAIRA is a well designed game, showing that great thought has been put into it and offering a ton of dangerous, murderous fun!
